Live airport radars

Twelve airports, one radar scope, real traffic. Each page below opens a live approach-controller's view fed by community ADS-B receivers: real callsigns, real altitudes, and the runway in use measured from where aeroplanes are actually landing. Watching is free and unlimited; you can also take the position and work the arrivals yourself.

How it works

Airliners broadcast position and identity over ADS-B. Volunteer receivers share it through public feeds; ATC Guy polls those feeds every ~10 seconds, draws the aeroplanes on a scope with range rings and data blocks, and infers the active runway from the landing stream. Read how the runway in use is decided and how to read a radar scope.
